Favorite folding hunter?

I would have to say a Case cv folding hunter; also a USA Schrade Old Timer folding hunter is a great knife they are carbon steel and the Chinese are stainless.). Try to find one in the "open stock" knife as the jigged delrin is better looking I think than Schrades brown/tan saw cut delrin handles.

I prefer those knives, as well. Carbon and TWO blades. Never could get on board with the lockbacks (B 110, Schrade LB7, etc.). Too much handle and not enough blade. The aforementioned knives are present in hordes on the auction site for very good prices (Well, maybe not a 6275 Tested long pull green bone ;)). Whatever kind of hunting knife I carry generally goes into some kind of pack, large or small, and NOT on my belt.

I have a few folding hunters and I like the pattern of this type of knife.

I like this one, a Queen #44 in carved stag bone; single D2 blade, and excellent spring power for a folding hunter. Like Goldilocks, not too soft nor too hard, it's "just right". Paired here with a Queen #41 copperhead for a size comparison. The folding hunter is the typical 5-1/4" size.
