Favorite "fondling" knife?

Grayman Satu. This knife snaps open with authority. Smooth, heavy, refined, and just freakin cool.

Has to be my Spyderco Navaja.

Fondling with mechanical clicking... Excellent choice.

Right now I'd say the Spyderco Sage 4. Great looking, excellent weight and size, and a really satisfying "clack" when it opens...

For the last month or so - Queen Cutlery Mountain Man Jigged bone

Often it's the latest arrival but one measure of how much I like something is how long it stays in that position. Carbon fiber scales and flippers seem to have an edge. Most recently it's the 2 Hinderer/ZT collaborations. Yikes I can only imagine what an XM 18 would be like!

Wait till the carbon fiber composite 0560 arrives oh man!

Love fondling my 0560!

Also a big fan of the Gayle Bradley. There's a lot to look at and it makes that satisfying FWACK noise when you open it. When it comes to noise though, the SMF with aluminum handles makes a humm like a tuning fork if you open it with the "spydie drop."

Currently it's a Sheffield Ministry of Defense survival knife. I bought for a good price a recognized its potential. I'm working on thinning out the primary grind, replacing the ugly block handles with huge copper rivets, and removing the black finish. I fondle it a lot because it is being transformed into a knife that I can use and enjoy.
