Just wondering. I grew up around cops in the 70s/late 80s and it was all about the S&W revolver. It stuck with me even through today, because I collect S&W revolvers and they're still my favorites to shoot, look at and tinker with.

But single-actions turn me on for some reason.

My personal opinion, nothings more fun than evil black rifles. Between my AK and my Glock, there's two fun-to-shoot, practical weapons that need zero TLC

My favorite always changes, right now it's my M1A. I can't believe it's cheaper for me to shoot my m1a than my handguns. I should've bought even more surplus than I did. I love loading up a twenty round magazine and letting loose prone.

Love my Cylinder & Slide tuned 1911 Combat Commander, and REALLY love my Benelli M3 Super 90. Excellent team.

I'm a decent enough shot with my .308's, but 12 gauge just works for me the best.

There is something to the knowledge that the Hornady TAP I'm running, with a well placed shot, will turn anything soft and organic into chunks.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Have yet to meet a gun I didn't like. Have most fun with my 1911 in 45 acp; ruger sp101 in 357; 4" S&W 28 in 357; S&W 41 in 22LR; ruger 1022; oly arms in 45 acp and 9mm; and my benelli mi super 90. Hmmm... better head out to the range Sunday.

Its hard to beat a 22 pistol. I love my ruger mark 2 for pure S and G.

A full size model 1911 is a joy to shoot.

but my favorite is a double action 38 or 357 with a three inch barrel SW mod 60 or ruger sp 101

Love my SIG, love my 1911 (springer), love my k31s, soon to love my winchester model 12, love my sp101. They're all awesome! FAL is on the wishlist.

It's hard to go wrong with any sort of reliable gun. They're all fun in their own way.:D

I'd go with the old Ruger standard model I bought in the 1960's for 39.95. Alot of guns have come and gone, but I've always kept that one. Don't know how many tens of thousands of rounds through it, but it keeps on shooting great. It's my favorite gun aside from my old Marlin 39 lever action .22.

Ruger 10/22... light, quick, accurate, well-built... a joy to shoot.

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE 1911's!
But, being that I do not currently own one, I really enjoy shooting my Kahr Arm's guns.

Two of my favorites:

Lightly customized Browning Hi-Power 9mm and Browning Buck Mark .22LR

My Glock 35! I love to knock down steel with it. I shoot it a lot at Briar rabbitt in Zanesville Ruger 22/45 MkII. .22lr that hits where it's pointed and can shoot it all day. I just wish it were quieter.

But then there is my favorite. Reminton 700LTR custom tuned and trued by Chandler at Iron Brigade. Shoots tiny groups. Took a school over the summer and shot it out to 900 yards. Made lots of good hits even in the 15-20 Mph winds we had some days.

I guess a have favorites in defferent calibers and purposes.

Winchester 30/30.

Strictly an American classic , the gun the "conquered" the West and seen in every cowboy movie worth seeing.

I love mine , it is a vintage from 1962 and in awesome shape , I am very accurate with it as well. Ammo is readily available and she is pretty easy to shoot.

Here is a pic mixed in with some other goodies since I'm too lazy to do a solo pic.

I have to agree the Winchester 30-30 is one of my favorites, I own several including a model 64 made in 1956. My grab -in-go
is the large loop trapper model. Being in Canada limits the use of handguns
so I don't even bother.

I voted 1911's and bolt action rifles because out of my firearms, they are my favorites. I have two Colt (of course!) 1911's; a govt. and a CCO. The CCO is scary accurate, and would be my go-to CCW weapon if Illinois had any sense. I also have an ancient Winchester .22 rifle that is master sniper accurate. It also has the most sentimental value to me, and I cherish every opportunity to shoot it.

.22 pistols are the most fun

sig/hammerli trailside is my favorite for autoloader
smith 317 for a 22 wheel gun

Fun to shoot?

A .22 LR rifle with a 50+ round magazine.

Ammo is inexpensive, no heavy recoil, and you can just shoot and shoot.

Most enjoyable is another issue (though after renting a 500 S&W, I'll give it the giggle factor "King" title at the moment).
