Favorite Kershaw?

You guys are gonna make me spend about $30 bucks for that Storm II. I've never seen anyone say anything negative about it, so I'm sure it'll be in my possession shortly.

leek...I just wish there were more frame locks that were bigger and that affordable.

You answered your own question, so to speak. The Storm 1 & 2 are both frame locks with Sandvik 13C26 Steel. The Storm is about the size of the Spec Bump, but a little heavier. My favorite is still the ZDP Leek and the Spec Bump is next. The Scallion and Chive are too small for me.

I don't want this to become a Storm II thread, but here are some pics for comparison:

The Hawk is the larger version of the Wild Turkey. I wouldn't mind a Ti-Hawk myself. The Ti Wild Wild Turkey is a fine gentleman's tactical, though. :)

These are some of my favorites, if I had to pick one all time favorite, it would have to be the Wild Wild Turkey, bottom left.

I like the Random Leek too, as I was putting them away I found my Polished G10 S30V Leek, It's sick when you forget what you have stashed away. Still need a Titanium Leek.

Favorite Kershaw of mine is the survival knife with the plain jane name of Model #1005. My first big knife and it has served me well for over a decade.
My only problem is you cannot draw it fast from its incredibly secure sheath

I think the ZT 200 is a bargain compared to the ZT 300.

Its nice but id rather get the frame lock. I dont really carea bout AO but i do love the strider stripes and the strider design:thumbup:

I've got one of those; it's one of the best bargains Kershaw sells. Helluva lotta knife for the money, no doubt!!

Not sure why I don't carry mine more often, other than A) it's definitely not "sheeple friendly", and B) I'm running outta room in my EDC box!

I have owned 3 leeks....and the leek is by far my favorite everday knife. As for my favorite leek it is hands down the zdp-189. I love this knife and the more I use it the more I love it.

I was very keen about my Cyclone (good value for money I thought), but the mechanism for toggling it from assisted to unassisted opening turned out to be quite flimsy, and no longer works reliably. :-(

Oh well. I guess it's the Scallion now (I've never liked the Leek, and the Chive is too small)

Honestly, my favorite is their adaptability as a company and their customer service.

For knives:
Leeks, Bumps and ETs

The lowly little ACE.

I've had one of them on my keyring for a few months now and it's a handy little cutter!

I bought my grandson an Ace today. I took it out of the box and checked the edge. It would pop hair with a little pressure so I decided to degrade the edge. I rolled some paper up into tight cylinder and made 7 or 8 cuts through it. I thought that should do it but when I tried it would still pop a hair. Amazing performance for a $10 knife. I have never had a Kershaw but I believe I need to give one a try.

Much as I love my Vapors, my leek, and my chive, it's gotta be the Cyclone that wins me over.

It feels so great in the hand, it works hard, and it just asks for more.

I love that knife.

The Blur is great! My usual EDC, and it feels great in my hand!
I also really like the scallion and the leek.

Kershaw ET -- it's simply an engineering marvel.

I had the huge honor of meeting and talking with the designers, Grant and Gavin Hawk, at Blade Show West yesterday. They may be the most innovative cutlery minds on the planet . . . I was very tempted to buy the custom version of the ET.
