Favorite knife maker?

What is your favorite custom knife maker?

Mine is Darrel Ralph, I dont own any of his knives but I love the designs.

Well, if their Benchmade designs are any indicator of their custom work, my vote would go to Osborne, Pardue, Elishewitz, and McHenry and WIlliams.

I've never thought who my favorite maker is, but does carrying their blade every day lead one to that decision?

If that's the case, then I carry a small fixed utility all the time, so that must mean my favorite maker is Bob Dozier.

At the head of the group would be Bill Moran, Ed Fowler, Roger Massey, Jerry Fisk, Steve Filicietti, John Fitch, Ron Newton, Al Pendray and Shane Taylor. Notice a bit of a pattern there?

I prefer the locals, Bud Nealy, and Ed Chavar, Kurt Meerdink has some pretty neat stuff, and than there's Paul Fox, and his electric knife.

Oh yeah, let's not forget the father of futuristic knives Jose DeBraga, their stuff used to be plastered all over the trade mags, I wonder what they're making now?
