Favorite knife maker?

Thanks for the mentions guys. Being in the same sentence as many of these makers is an honor in itself.

I've been carrying a Jim Hammond flipper folder the past few months and really like his work. My wife STOLE my little Rinaldi Matrix :( A Marlowe folder is next on my list!! Three awesome makers indeed!!

One of these days I would like to add a big, SERIOUS, BREND to my collection :)

There is too many fine makers out there to decide on just one. I agree with many of the above listed makers, but one of my faves has been overlooked so far... TERRY PRIMOS. He's da man. There are many more, but I'll let others chime in here.

My fav's: Jerry Fisk, Roger Massey, Tim Hancock, Harvey Dean, Rob Hudson, Bailey Bradshaw, Steve Filicietti:

We are fortunate to have so many outstanding custom makers to choose from, but if I had to pick just one I'd have to go with Bob Dozier. He has raised pure working functionality to the level of art. A Dozier knife always looks good, but you can't truly appreciate it until it's in your hand being used.

Good to hear from ya bud, and thanks..
Yeah, I like my knifemakers with a little meat on their bones:D

Reminds me. It's about that time...I'll talk to you soon;)

I'll jump on the bandwagon with Bob Dozier. Bob’s knives have a lot going for them. The cutting efficiency of both my Doziers are absolutely superb, and the ergonomics are excellent. If that weren’t enough, he’s the god of D2 heat treatment. His Kydex work is innovative and top notch in craftsmanship. He’s even willing to do convex grinds upon request. Lastly, he doesn’t charge an arm and a leg for all of this value. Bob is the knife maker for the workingman who uses his knife.
