The poll is now skewed.... it is just short of irrelevant. Chasden, perhaps it was an innocent omission, I can live with that, but it now renders the poll biased and inaccurate. Those who have voted, without comment, might have voted for BM were they there in the first place. They also might not come back to the thread to voice their support for Benchmade. Omitting Benchmade is more than serious, it is egregious and is something Gallup (or any other pollster this particular election year) might've done, albeit on purpose.

ermm.. i think some people might eb ommitting the fact that this is just an internet knife poll, probbably wiht names just thought up off of the top of the op's head, no need to get quite so upset

Sorry guys -- there is a ten item limit for polls...

I get that there is a lot of love for Benchmade here, and I've owned a couple in past and I know they are great knives, it was an innocent omission.

And this is just a goofy little poll.

Out of the knives I own or have used... Busse, hands down. But I'm also a big fan of Al Polkowski, Fehrman, Grayman, Lightfoot, and Randall, none of which made it into the poll. I just like Busse a little bit better than all of the above I mentioned.

RAT Cutlery and Busse make great knives, but being primarily fixed blades, it's difficult to make an honest comparison to Kershaw, Benchmade and Spyderco, which are primarily known for their folders. Kind of an apples to oranges thing...

It seems like folks are upset some key makers/manufacturers are missing from this poll. Check the new poll thread -- I'm thinking we submit suggestions for entries, then go through a few rounds.

Kershawby leaps and bounds. Excellent design and engineering.
I include Zero Tolerance as being with Kershaw.
Customer Service of Kershaw is the tops, and the whole organization seems to listen pretty close to us knife pros here.

I don't have a favorite company.

I have a mental list of companies that make good knives.
That list keeps growing.
