The title here pretty much says it all. What's your favorite knife reviewer (on YouTube or elsewhere) and why. For me, this would be a guy that goes by the screen name of WeAllJuggleKnives. As for as his reviews go, they are very well done and he covers pretty much everything that you could possibly want to know about the knife and then some. I've also found that since he and I are both left handed, that our views on knives tend to be almost identical, which is really helpful for me if I'm watching a review that he's done on a knife that I am considering purchasing, though there's probably other unknown factors here as well. I don't know if he has an account her on the forums, but I honestly wish he did.

Link to his channel if you're interested. His latest video as of this post is a review of the Spyderco Calypso Sprint Run: http://www.youtube.com/user/WeAllJuggleKnives

I'd have to say xiuxiu1313.....cool guy!

I really like gavkoo and tuffthumbz to!

I wasn't aware that this had already been discussed and I actually did a search for it, but that thread didn't come up for me or was buried under several pages that contained those terms. I've not heard of the second one, but I've seen a few of xiuxiu1313's videos.

Convex the best:D

It depends on the blade for me. I prefer a convex on my fixed blades and a regular V edge on my folders and yea, gavkoo has some nice videos, but I watch his channel not for his reviews, but for the custom knives he makes.

I agree, he's not really a reviewer any way I just watch a lot of his vids.......

Best reviews I have seen yet are the handful that Ankerson has done. He puts knives through the ringer on edge retention. Another good type of review (albeit not quite a review) are stress and abuse tests for knives. It's always nice to know what it takes for your knife to break.

In no particular order, these are the guys I probably learned the most from. MrDagon007, Gavkoo, Virtuovice, and blunttruth4u.

I've also watched a lot of wealljuggleknives, edgeobserver, and cutlerylover stuff, but that might have something to do with the volume of stuff they have out there. NYCdave had some pretty damn cool stuff, so did customtacticals, hellzzarmy, edgedweapon88, johnwaynecolt45, blackforestghost1 and many others.

My top knife reviewer is Cutlerylover.. Yeah, he doesn't really review knives all the time anymore, but I like watching whatever content he puts out. Other sweet YouTube personalities I like are Tuffthumbz, Gavkoo, and jdavis

Definitely dig Israel aka WeAllJuggleKnives, I like the variety of his reviews. He covers a whole range, folders, fixed blades, axes and 'hawks, all the way up to machetes and swords. Likewise, he covers the spectrum pricewise, from cheap $10-15 folders up to multi-hundred dollar blades. He gives you all the info you might need, without droning on monotonously or rambling more than needed(I like cutlerylover pretty well, but sometimes he spends 25 minutes saying what could have been said more than sufficiently in 10). And he has a good sense of humor, jokes around(but not ridiculously so), and tends to respond to comments pretty well also.

Aside from Israel, Gavkoo is generally good as well. Also pretty fond of MDPrepper, but that's mainly cause he reviews a lot of machetes, which are a favorite of mine.
