I'll answer with a song. Not my song, I get no credit.

Edge observer has amazing production. I just wish tthey (he?) did more, but I'd imagine those take a while to put together.

+1 Visually the edge observer is the best. You know the pro when you see one

virtuvoice is enjoyable to watch too I share his love for convex and barkies

gavko is a nice guy and a hommie from Brooklyn

there are many others that do a good job as well

I guess there are worse things than being unpredictable. :)

For someone with 123,000,000 views, and who the entire rest of the world seems to be watching, Nutnfancy sure takes a lot of heat at Bladeforums. But I'm completely at peace in saying that I watch just about everything with his name on it, and many of his videos I've watched multiple times. I even pride myself a little bit on the will it takes to go against the flow and not be one of the haters, and to large degree it seems that group-think has swallowed up a lot of people who dislike him because they see others disliking him. I really do like the enthusiasm he brings to his knife reviews, just as I enjoy the enthusiasm of CRK or Busse enthusiasts at BF (though I am neither). Enthusiasm is contagious and addictive, and its so much more fun to watch than the average reviewer whose videos are mostly full of long pauses, throat clearing and bad audio. Nutnfancy is a little bit of a d-bag, but I'm okay with that because most of us have our own foibles that we too want people to overlook.

agree 100% despite many here I still like him he does a decent job (like it or not he is one of us)
before nat' I did not think a folding knife was a knife worthy of my attention
I do not share all of his opinions I have my own tastes and opinions but it is true for all of the other reviewers out there

I don't really hate nutnfancy my main problem with him is the fact that he can be a lil "if it's not made in the usa..." I know he's reviewed alot of made in china/Taiwan/Taichung knives but...I have a hard time geting past that..

Also the fake xm-18 vid left a bad tast in my mouth.....

Any way I don't mean to create any drama I'm just sayin whats on my mind.

I don't watch any. I've tried to watch a couple by Nutfnfancy, and realized he knew nothing about knives(other than specs), and gave alot of bad information. I guess that kinda turned me off from giving any others a chance, though I realize there may be many out there that does know alot about knives. I just don't need them.
I got by fine before we had reviewers(or the internet), and I still do. If there is something I need to know I can find it here at BF, or call/PM/email one of my friends that I've made here.

I have a few favorite reviewers on youtube.

My favorite to watch with the sound off is Nutnfancy.

My favorites to watch with the sound on is Stefan Schmalhaus ( very well produced) and FateofDestinee ( check out her BM Adamas review).

NutnFancy, his videos have, enthusiasm, attention to detail and lots of information, for people that love knives, I really don't get what the beef is with him. Well actually I do, He is not afraid of giving strong opinions, and this seems to ruffle feathers.

In no particular order:

Schmalhaus
Mr. Dagon
WeAllJuggleKnives
Cutlerylover

I also like Nutn, though he can get snarky at times, and I totally agree with those who say his vids ramble on and on. I just fast forward to the good stuff. ;)

Definitely will weigh in with my overall favorite: Nutnfancy

He says it himself, he's just providing his own data point. Like most have stated here they don't necessarily agree with him on everything and I don't think he is looking for people to do that. He provides thorough information both in regard to specs and then also his own opinion. And I definitely agree his enthusiasm in general but specifically for knives makes me more interested as well.

Ric Torres.
Best knife reviewer ever, hands down no contest.

Schmalhaus is a close second.

I don't have any beef with the guy, I just find he rambles and drags on a bit. I mean, I can watch a 10 min vid by WeAllJuggleKnives and a 25 minute vid by Nutn, and get the exact same info. And since I find Israel's sense of humor more to my style than Nutn's, I don't have much call to spend an extra 15 minutes getting the same info that Israel covers in less than half the time. Not to mention, Israel, MDPrepper, and a lot of other reviewers actually responds to the people who comment on their vids, which is pretty cool(I understand why Nutn doesn't, he's got way too many comments to reply to all of them, so I don't hold it against him, but it's still nice to be able to actually talk with the reviewer if you want to).
