Currently my favorite knife to play with is my Reate Hills. It flips better then most production knives and I just like the way it sounds. I would like to know what other knives you like to play with custom or production. Comment bellow!!
Top three in no particular order are the Kershaw Spec Bump as it has a nice, snappy assist and it's lock is just fun to play with, the Buck 830 Marksman for the absurb flipping action and the Freeman 451 BLF for the frictionless, guillotine drop when you hit the button lock.
PM2. I just cannot resist finger-flicking them open, and then closing the blade without a bounce by a quick forward/back motion while holding down the compression lock.
My Mora, I love to pop the sheath off with my thumb, flick it into the air, catch it with my left hand in the correct position for sheathing it, sheath and repeat.
Its gotta be my urban trapper or my magnetic-retention friction folder. The friction folder "flips" shut as well as open so its non-stop flipping action. It moves about as fast as a normal flipper.
The bottom knife in each pic below (black handles) is a switchblade that I custom built. Originally it was identical to the top knife (a Frank Beltrame). I like the "gadgetry" of switchblades. Among several other things, I designed and fabricated a new lock-release mechanism (which adds to the gadgetry fun ).
