Favorite Knife With "Spyder Hole"

The Spyker.
Dont have one but would love to. Have handeled one at my local knife store. NICE !! Lots of $$ though. And discontinued.

Endura since 92, but the Stretch 2 is really pushing it for most favored. The ZDP stretch 2 is as if it was designed for me. It comes alive in my hands and feels like an extension of my hand. Joe

I'd go with the Military.

Other knives I currently own with holes to help open them I find the hole to be TOO small. BM800, BM806, Spyderco UK, etc. The sizing of the hole is critical and I fing most to be too small.

For me it's the Stretch II these days. Everything is just right, ergos, materials, steel, polish of the blade, etc...

I'v never really been a fan of "spyder holes", but then again thumb studs are a pain in the butt too because they usually need to be removed prior to sharpening. Maybe I should take a closer look at them after all.

I find that the 14mm holes on Spyderco models such as the Salt series, Military, Paramilitary, etc. are the easiest to open. You can really get the 'palm' of your thumb in those a lot easier than the 13mm holes found on the rest of their knives. It's like night and day. After using the 14mm holes, I find it hard to use any other opening method...
