Hey. I was wondering what your favorite knife that you own is was and why. For me it's the spyderco mili because its sharp and a looker.

SAK, because it's so darn useful. Before buying my first SAK, I thought of them as toys. Now I think of them as tools, and I find myself using a SAK more than any other knife.

SMF

Can't hurt it, it can go anywhere with me, it looks wicked, inflates my ego, cuts like a mofo, holds an edge forever, and is surprisingly unnoticeable in my pocket. The G10 has great grip, the multiple choils offer me the ability to comfortably and safely adjust my grip depending on what I'm doing with the knife, and when the poopy flies spraying stinkily through the fan, I know I'll have something I can depend on to have my back (and front) no matter what happens for as long as I live. In fact, I just bought a second one :rolleyes:;)

Right now, my Gossman friction folder. A2 and desert ironwood with a leather pocket sheath. Great user too.

My Becker Necker probably but I can't stop messing with my BK-2. Then again, my SAK huntsman sure is handy. Oh bloody heck!

SO hard to pick just one! I think my favorite changes from time to time, depending on a number of things.

If I HAD to pick one, I will go with my Rainbow Leek. It is the knife I find myself carrying the most, and most enjoy just about every aspect of it:
the sleek design
perfect size
awesome auto-open feature
great blade shape
out-of-box sharpness
very unique look
decent price
It is just that perfect combination of form & function that we knife nuts are always looking for.

But who knows, ask me again in a few months, I may have a new favorite! :p

Practicality wise I have to say the HEST. It's 3/16ths thickness and low profile (but yet a perfect ergonomic full grip) combined with huge belly and functional slicing edge make it ideal for EDC and as a survival knife. There's so much blade in this little guy I prefer it over most of my bigger knives, just because it's so damn easy to use and control finitely. It's just as sharp and functional as the day I bought it almost a year ago, and it's ridden in my pocket since the day it arrived, without fail. This is one higher end blade I definitely got my money's worth out of.

You'd think that I would pick the $100 GEC stag barlow, but you'd be wrong. :)

When I can grab whatever I want to grab, my hand usually lands on the Tenacious or Native, but I really don't have a favorite...yet. I just have a few that I'm more comfortable with.

Somewhere out there is my favorite knife.

Overall? My BK-2. It's just an indestructible tank that will see me through anything.

Realistically? My Vic Farmer, because it's always with me, ready to perform almost any task I require of it.

Benchmade 943 - Super smooth action, AXIS lock, and the perfect size for an EDC.

Right now it is my Hinderer XM-18 Gen3 3.5". Super smooth and just fits my hand perfectly. Tough knife that I'm not afraid to actually use!

harsey lone wolf t2 nylon handles, tactical blade.

my t1 carbon fiber also tactical blade is very close.

if I had a t2 ranger with nylon, that may be my favorite.

Another "favorite knife" thread?? Ah well, I'll chime in. At this very moment my favorite knife would be the Emerson Super Commander that I just received in the new stonewash finish. Lovin' it!

My rc3. Had it for a little while now, and its been through a lot with me. Only ones that come close are my old imperial BSA knife that I got when I was 7, or the buck 110 on looks alone. End of the day though, my a100 worms its way into my pocket most days, its just so damn tough and convenient!

Just sharpened her up, and gave her some new kydex pants since the blade is so worn/sharpened down that the stock sheath didn't work well, plus the sheath's retention had finally started to fail, too much grit rubbed around it. FYI these are ground with 5 serrations, one of them hit a nail and rounded off, them I just ignored it while sharpening, its about and eighth of an inch slimmer than when it was new I think.

hellofaknife.
