I'll start by saying that there are not nearly enough good lock backs to choose from, I wish there were 3-4 x's the selection that's currently available.
Here's my short list...
Chinook 1 - all time favorite, just not the right knife for frequent carry. I grab it when I need something heavier duty or know I won't be cutting a lot.
Spyderco Persian - This is the best kept secret in Spyderco's line. Great value, great ergo's and a great design.
Buck 110 - American history, rock solid construction.
My first quality knife was a SOG Tomcat, I still like that model a lot though its been a long time since I owned one. My fav now is my g10 standard with full serrated blade. I consider it to be the ultimate pocket knife. Right size, comfy to use and carry and that awesome spyder edge. If I can ever get my hands on a g10 police that might take it but unti then its the standard.
Manix for sure. It almost seems wrong though, to rate the manix in a context as specific as this. If the question was "favorite production folder", I can gaurantee you'd have just as many people responding with Manix.
