Favorite Lock-back folder?

I love both my Manix and stainless steel Endura. But for a favorite, I'd have a choose The Angry Beaver

I'll start by saying that there are not nearly enough good lock backs to choose from, I wish there were 3-4 x's the selection that's currently available.

Here's my short list...

Chinook 1 - all time favorite, just not the right knife for frequent carry. I grab it when I need something heavier duty or know I won't be cutting a lot.

Spyderco Persian - This is the best kept secret in Spyderco's line. Great value, great ergo's and a great design.

Buck 110 - American history, rock solid construction.

BUCK 110 followed closely by my 112fg. I really like wood and brass lockbacks .

Would have to be the Chinook2, it's what I have carried everyday for the most part for over a year.

Next best, probably the Persian, it gets carried ocassionally.

I put the military in the pocket ocassionanlly as well, but not for long, the Chinook gets the most favored vote.

The Manix for sure. It's been a while since I've appreciated a factory knife as much as this one.

Top four for me (nor order)
  • Buck 110
  • SOG Tomcat
  • Spyderco Chinook
  • Spyderco Scorpius

I can't decide:

Buck 112 or Schrade LB7 or Schrade LB3 or Schrade 5OT or Schrade 3OT or Puma Prince or maybe my old stag handled multiblade Boker...

My first quality knife was a SOG Tomcat, I still like that model a lot though its been a long time since I owned one. My fav now is my g10 standard with full serrated blade. I consider it to be the ultimate pocket knife. Right size, comfy to use and carry and that awesome spyder edge. If I can ever get my hands on a g10 police that might take it but unti then its the standard.

Manix for sure. It almost seems wrong though, to rate the manix in a context as specific as this. If the question was "favorite production folder", I can gaurantee you'd have just as many people responding with Manix.

Spyderco Delica from Santa Fe Stoneworks, plain
Spyderco Calypso, Micarta, plain
Spyderco Rookie G-10, fully serrated
Spyderco Co-Pilot, plain
William Henry Spire, Cocobolo

my favorite lockback by far is the extrema ratio nemisis or fulcrum, very heavy duty imho.
