Liner or frame. Doesn't really matter as long as it is well made. Since my Millies are liner locks I picked that in the poll.

Voted lock back, but I haven't tried out the compression lock yet. I might change opinions when I get a hold of a Para II.

Voted for the lockback. In reality it's the Mar/McBurnette midlock, which Spyderco uses and which has several advantages over the lockback, that's my favorite. If it doesn't have a midlock, the chances of it ever riding in my pocket are very, very slim.

Liner locks are king for me these days. The last six Spyderco knives I've purchased are all L/Locks:)

I prefer the BBL although I also have an affinity for the plunge lock with safety on the Citadel as it give me almost as much confidence in a lock as a fixed blade.

i like the caged ball and compression as far as strength, design, and keeping my fingers out of the blade path.

but ill have to go with frame locks as far as favorite as they are the most natural for me.

My vote went to lockback. Easiest to operate. Compression lock is fine as well.

my favorite is frame/ril. however if i were going to be like stabbing something hard, i would want some like an axis or ball lock. but for general use a fram lock.
