Favorite Loveless designs and makers

The Loveless designs I like best are the Drop Point, the Semi Skinner and the Chute. For all of them I prefer micarta scales. The small boot knife (NY Special I guess) is really neat too. For some reason the bigger fighters don't ring my bell.
I have a Chute on order with Mike Lovett and really look forward to it.
Some day I hope to get a Loveless made drop point or semi skinner.
I consider Loveless to be a knife design genius. His designs are visually balanced, clean and functional.
I like a lot what S.R. Johnson makes, and the basic integrals (read no damascus no frills) from Kressler. I also handled a small Velarde integral and it was top notch.

I would love to get a knife from Mike Lovett, but waiting six or more years for it is not something I am prepared to do right now.
 
Nice to hear so many folks having success getting their
Rob Brown knives. I was probably the first here to promote RB but so far after over 5 years after an order for 4 knives was placed I have not seen hide nor hair of any of the knives.

I have received a PM from another member after I posted saying the same thing - they're still waiting for their knives from Rob. I have not had any problem with Rob myself.
 
Well... I promoted Rob Brown's knives in this thread too. But I have to admit that I never get mine either... I gave up... But his knives look terrific, and I was told that they're not disappointing.
