favorite mora? and number

I have seven, the 510 is right up there, but I do prefer the 740/780 due to the larger handle.

I've liked the looks of the 760 "swedish army knife" but is there any reason to buy the 510 over it? Will it out perform the 760, does it have a better sheath?

I plan on trying to finding the Mora that I like best and having a custom sheath built for it. That way if the knife gets damaged I can replace the knife and still have a good sheath on it.

510....510....510....510....

I have 4 of them stashed all over the place.......:D

I have 15-20 of them, with the Mora 2000 being my favorite. This is closely followed by the 510. If the Mora 2000 was available in Carbon steel, it would be the ultimate knife.

I am at work and this is off the top of my head, but I think this is a list of the model numbers I have. I have a bit of a Mora problem. For some of the models, I have multiple colors and carbon and stainless versions.

#2
440
510
545
2000
711
911
Clipper - Stainless and Carbon
680
760, 780 and the serrated version
Mora box cutter from SMKW

I also have one Ahti Finman which I like and several Hultafors, which are awesome. The heavy duty Hultafors is like a Mora on steroids.

The #2 laminated is my favorite for widdling. The carbon clipper is my favorite for camping style bushcraft stuff.

I have:
2x #2 laminated
M2K
Stainless Clipper
Carbon Clipper
#612 carbon halfgard
carbon Viking
Scout
and a crooked knife
I think thats it. I'm not sure though.

Was at my local car parts store today, buying headlights, and saw about a
dozen Frosts Mora 860 MG's just sitting there looking like they needed a good home.
Well, I just couldn't resist, and grabbed one along with my headlights. :)

I'm old school. My favorite is the classic #1 with red wooden handle.

+1

I think I own 3 moras at the moment. The classic, one clipper, and a stainless steel one thats in my car. If Id go through the shed at my summer place, Id propably find at least 3 more :D

gotta go with the 510, never tried one of the wooden handle models but think i may. great bang for the buck knives.

Well since the only one I own is a clipper I would have to go with it.

I think a 740 or this one will be next.
