Favorite movie knife scenes

Jim Carrey as the Grinch when he whips out the 11" Kriss bladed Italian Stilleto to carve the "Roast Beast"...

He's a mean one...

I'm with nifrand, I love that scene in Longriders too.
Another favorite of mine is from Aliens.

The first 2 that immediately came to mind are the Cocodile Dundee scene and the scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" where the guy does all the fancy stuff with the big knife and Harrison Ford pulls his gun and shoots him. Both of these had me LOL.

BTW the scene on the plane with James Caan was in "Eraser". Arnold S. was the good guy.

A nice scene in the movie "Cyborg" is when Jean-Claude Van Damme gets attacked in the abandoned house. Two knives used, somewhat interesting. Lousy movie otherwise.

James Caan playing the bad guy in some movie I recently watched on video. I can't remember the other guy, but it was a pretty recent film. Anyway, they are on a plane, and the good guy pulls some sort of throwing knife and nails Caan in the arm or something and Caan says, "I can't believe you just cut me with this cheap mailorder piece of Sh*t!"</font>

That was a great scene! The movie is "Eraser" and the guy with the knife was Arnold Schwarzenegger's character.

Hmmmm, so far most of the goods ones are taken . . . .

One of my favorites was "Night of the Running Man" with Scott Glenn.

He hides in an alley and as the guy following him starts to pass, he slashes him across the eyes with a full dress Emerson CQC6.

The guy sarts screaming "You cut my eyes!!!", to which Scott Glenn replies "So buy a dog" and strolls away.

Then, of course, there's the Stallone epic - Cobra. I saw it again recently, and it struck me how cheesey it is... of course, when it first came out, I thought it was way cool... shows how much I've grown.

Anyhoo, two scenes there - Stallone (our good guy) opens a folder one handed behind his back and executes a perfect underhand throw to nail the bad guy in the supermarket - still wondering what that folder was...

Then there's the Bad Guy (capital "B", capital "G") who carries the nasty fixed blade with the spikes on the guard. I think Sly offs him with an axe at the end...

*edit* didn't I see one of those in a pic of VG's big glass knife case?

Then there is tree-hugging Martin Sheen as CTP. Willard killing COL. Kurtz with that bush ax.

Forget that knife that Arnold uses in Predator, I want to know who made the knife that Billy, the tracker, uses. That knife is huge!

One of my favorite knife scenes is in the movie Taxi Driver with my boyhood hero and all American Travis Bickle. When he gets in a fight on the stairway going to Jodie Foster's apt. and the knife goes through the hand. You talkin to me???

Last of the Mohicans. Daniel-Day Lewis gets into some really savage blade vs blade action. Plus that fight above the waterfalls is just a classic.

The Big Red One where Lee Marvin uses his knuckleduster trench knife on that guy in the begining.

How about the Iron Mistress? The scene with Jim Bowie(Alan Ladd) ordering his custom bowie from the blacksmith is awesome! Also, when he uses it later to fight in the duel against the guy with the sword is just classic.
