Favorite Movie Knife

Rambo 4 all the way!

Just seen "the book of Eli" last night....there was a couple of good knife scenes...he has a really big knife in the movie

Michael Myers' knife in Rob Zombie's Halloween 2. I think the unrated version shows a little more of the knife. I guess at some point he ditched the chef's knife for a HUGE bowie knife. In some scenes it looks like it has a 12 or 13 inch blade on it, maybe bigger.

I want that knife.

I'd have to say that Billie's knife/short sword on Predator started my love affair with blades. That movie probably started my love affair with guns too, now that I think about it!

Having watched Predator the last few nights, I noticed Arnold had one of the big machetes as well. He uses it in the "stick around" scene when he pins a guerrilla to the wall with it.

I just saw "Legion". Angels seem to have an affinity for highly stylize knives. There were a couple of cool (but yes, very "movie prop") ones in the film.

I always wanted a predator machete, but Jack crain had the worst reputation in the business for taking peoples money and never delivering anything. He has since fallen off the earth nowhere to be found, but the patent on his design has expired so there is a company making replicas for a pretty low price. I may have to pick one up for fun..

and I always wanted a Rambo III bowie but could never find an original for sale. the replicas I always found were cheap crap that never looked good up close...

Billy's Knife from Predator.
Chavez's double bladed knife from YoungGuns II Knife fight scene.

Since this thread has gravitated towards blades in general.

Magua's Daniel Winkler tomahawk in Last of the Mohicans.

Just the one I was going to say.:D

Also had them in his shoes too, didn't he?

Rob

I don't think he had any in his shoes....but I can think of two shoe knives:

"Rosa Klebb" in "From Russia With Love"
"Ichi" in "Ichi the Killer"

..and, maybe "Joker" in "Dark Knight"?

I think it was Gil Hibben custom, made for that movie. And afterwards they came up with the production models. Those knives cost around $80, Hibben also designed Kano's knife from the first Mortal Kombat movie, you'll be able to find pictures of it if you google hibben raptor. I got one of Hibben production models, it's a Dragonlord. Really cool looking knife, looks very mean, as the shelf display. I never used it, it has just sat there for over 10 years, but it looks once again cool.

Some under appreciates ones that i like alot

Jubei's katana from Ninja Scroll
Riddicks bone knife from Pitch Black
Mikey's bowie in Natural Born Killers
Tuco's knife in The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

Those are just off the top of my head. Sure there are more.
