Favorite Neck knifes.

What Stretch said.

But also next to the skin, under a T-shirt or Collared shirt. If that's the case, be sure to clean and oil the knife to prevent perspiration from causing corrosion.

If kayaking, then outside all clothing for ready access.

Gene Ingram Pocket Hippo.

And the plural of knife is KNIVES, NOT knifes.

I like this little guy - a custom necker by Jimi Wade. Original paracord replaced with leather cord.

Hey, a fellow kayaker who knows the importance of a quick acsess neck nife. I had to use my Randal neck knife a couple times in dire need while fishing( A rod in the holder snagged while drift fishing and about flipped me)

I too have corrosion issues. The knife is ats-34 and rusts like mad while saltwater fishing . I need one in h1 Spyderco (Sal, u listning).

Just wondering! I hate things of weight and length around my neck

I wear an Izula with a kydex sheath and ball chain. After a few days adjustment, I can't even tell it's on. Sometimes I'll tap my chest or feel my neck for the chain just to be sure I remembered to put it on. Paracord on the other hand drove me insane like I was headed for the hangman's gallows.

I carried my Spyderco Kumo as a neck knive for a couple of years but now that Spyderco came out with the G-clip, allowing for inside the waistband carry, I wear it that way. In my experience, virtually all neck knives,no matter how small, 'print' to a certain extent in some postures.

I have this one that is made by mykulmorris here on the forum, made from a chunk of Nicholson file it carries very nicely and is easy to access and resheath.

Then there is this one...my favorite necker to wear when attack by pizza is imminent.

Had a few handmades over the years, but picked up a few of these BM210TK's and have to say its my favorite necker ever.

5.5" Small, a tough .140 saber/flat blade, long thumb notch, Carbon Fiber and twill G-10 scales, S30V... and it locks in the hand like a much larger knife.
Whats not to like about it:D
Its also the only 5'5" OAL knife that I've felt was really capable of skinning deer with ease, and it did work great.

BTW-I was going to add a pic that I had on file with PhotoBucket, but am not going back there untill they can figure out why so many are getting a virus from there site. Be carefull if you are using PB at this time. Good advice about it in a Busse thread if you need to read more about it.

There's been a spurt of necker threads lately. Just odd to see so much interest at once.

Here's my favorite. Camillus Becker prototype.
