Favorite new '09 model knife?

Are there any new benchmade with AXIS-lock and regular manual open?

The barrage looks good, but don't think i want an AO knife.

760 looks awesome, but i want to try an AXIS-lock.

That CRK&T Hisshou looks like a winner to me. I'm assuming that "dual grind" means no chisel ground. Any word on the release date? Seems like CRK&T is pretty quick to get their new knives to market.

The Benchmade 760 is the most appealing knife I've seen so far, but the year is still so young, lots of stuff yet to be announced at Blade.
Runners up are the Kershaw ZT 0350, the Umnumzaan with CRK's new steel type, and the New Spyderco Manix.

I'm looking forward to the most affordable hinderer framelock--Kershaw OD-1
The new ZT 0350 looks great as well.

I am just getting back in to collecting so there will be alot of purchases in 2009. I really like the Spyderco Kopa but think i might be afraid to use it. It's so pretty. Also will pick up a BM 530
Swiss army knife has a new soldier coming out

Tip down only from pictures. The pocket clip placement is also quite low.

Pocket clip looks awfully low (high-ride) in my opinion, sux. I'd be afraid to lose that pricey little blade with it hanging that far out of my pocket!

I really like my new BM Torrent. Love the deep carry pocket clip and assisted opening.

I also bought and sold the mini-barrage. Snappy opening, love the assisted axis, tight lock up, smooth, but just can't get over the injection molded plastic scales on a knife. Milled g10 or micarta I can deal with, but that molded stuff just doesn't seem right.

Oh well, somebody got a great deal on my first production run mini-Barrage. :D

I don't know if I'll ever get one especially since they are limited but the green G-10 Dragonfly does it for me!

Emerson Super Raven (tanto p/e). Just called and got my name on the list :D

Spyderco Military in Orange G-10. Not really a new model, but I love th look. :)

If I had to pick a completely brand new introduction, I have to say the Rock Lobster from Spyderco looks amazing, as well as the RC-5 from RAT.

I believe you can just remove the coil spring to disable the Axis-Assist (AO). The Axis lock will still work as it uses an separate omega spring to engage.

There are a couple upcoming Kershaws I am anticipating. One is the ZT0350, the other is the new Tyrade with ss liners, G-10 handles, and the same 154CM/CPM D2 blade of the original Tyrade. Both promise to be sweet!
