Favorite Office Carry [Price Dependent]

for 30 or less, my money would be on an Opinel #6.

I've carried one of those to work more than any other knife in my collection.
so cheap and effective it's therapeutic.

The QSP penguin? Is quite nice. And comes in a whole bunch of different styles.

I really like the brass.

It depends what you office..Sheep's feet are not great letter openers. But are amazing at everything else.

And this is one I have been eyeing off. Looks super classy.

You work in an office and want to carry in a discreet pocket knife in each day. Definitely want a folder (a "gentlemen's folder"), no belt sheaths, and would like the flexibility of a pocket clip if possible. What do you buy with a $30 or so price limit?

Swiss Army?
Buck Langford?
Opinel with add on clip?
Case Synthetic MiniBlackhorn?
Other...

For $30ish I'm getting a Victorinox Alox Bantam or a 93mm Solo, or a nice micarta Ria from CJRB, or I'm keeping an eye out for extreme sales that bring the excellent $50-75 'nice budget' range knives down to the $40ish range and doing a stretch

What? Sure they are, you just insert the tip into the crease and send her away! It's a little bit different of an angle than a slender drop point I guess, but not by much, and the overall task is basically the same regardless

I think the douk douk is a good suggestion, but for my office it seems a little aggressive to me. I do occasionally carry an inexpensive brass handled higonokami to work. I generally use modern folders, but that one slips in the pocket easily and is pretty non threatening, and for light work it's just fine for me. The one I have is a <3" blade which keeps legal trouble away also.

I fund them a bit fat and awkward as compared to that slim ceo. Or a traditional letter opener.

We had that thread and people were suggesting switchblades. And honestly that might be the more practical choice for that job.
