Favorite outdoors chopper!

I just picked up this Siegle Hardcore in ATS-34, and an Ontario Ranger RD9 bush. The Siegle is a beast!!

Home grown green canvas micarta with .44 mag cases for lanyard hole, brass pins. Plastic handle broke, I've had this machete for at least 14 years now.

These two, are what I used to use. Run of the mill Hardware store axe and a Ranger RD6.

But now I carry C/S Trail Hawk and a Mora 2000. Obviously a much lighter load, to carry. And they both do an excelent job. The Trail hawk suprised me at the duties it can perform as well as the Mora.

(sorry for blood pic, I got careless.) Still razor sharp after going through many pieces of wood)

Just had this one made for me by "JK Handmade Knives". This one will be my primary "Chopper" around the house, cabin, camp, etc. This one is called the "StormBringer" cause when it's pulled from it's sheath, the skies will grow dark, the winds will howl, and people will run for cover and come out later to see what damages have been done..:D (pictures by JK Handmade Knives)

Beautiful hawk you got there:thumbup:
That blood really puts some color on that mora pic....

'And they both do an excellent job'. I'm right there with you. Here are my hawks....more than sufficient for my wood splitting needs.

My only chopper is my BK9, but it doesn't leave much to be desired. I really dig this guy.
