Favorite pocket for edc

Loose in right front pocket, since a pocket clip will get you collared. Lately my Svord rides in my inside jacket pocket. Going to have to figure something out for the Spring months, before cargo short season starts.

5.11, Blackhawk, Vertx, Propper, etc don't stand out as 'tacticool' in the PNW. There are cargo pants and shorts all over up here, and hiking shoes or trail runners are just as common. Even our hipsters wear them.

In other news, everybody and their grandma's goldfish has been a trained observer since the "I know the guy at the bar knows how to handle himself" scene in The Bourne Identity. If somebody tried the ever popular "I'd kill obvious carrier" thing up here by plugging somebody in cargos, they'd have a good chance of taking out somebody whose pockets are full of granola and pot.

Just Levis or Wranglers for me. Right front pocket always, fixed blade on belt.

Left front pocket. A knife has rode there for the past 40 years or so. I might change someday, but that's where she has always been.

Depends if I'm wearing jeans, slacks, or cargo shorts; with comparison in what doing, with exceptions.

Jeans front right pocket & possibly rear left pocket. Maybe small fixed blade.
Slack more likely just right front pocket.
Cargo shorts are down for whatever. Folder in front pocket, maybe back pocket too. Possibly fixed blade in cargo.

Possibly exra in a bag, jacket, ect

No telling really though.

Primary knife (CRK, or ZT) clipped in left front pocket, along with a surefire light (I'm a lefty), secondary knife, (Spyderco Delica, foliage green, combo edge) goes in my right front pocket. Pistol on my right hip (I'm right eye dominant).

I do like the cargo pants for work and when I wear cargo pants, I'll have two knives on me; most likely a Vic SAK in right front pocket, and ZT in left upper leg pocket. There is also a small Vic on my key ring in my right front pocket.

5.11 Stryke Pants when I'm off. Doesn't scream "tactikool" as much as the 5.11 Taclite Pros. I'm right handed so my Emerson Combat Karambit goes on the left pocket and and whatever I feel like carrying on the right. Most of the time, it's an Emerson or Emerson/ZT collab. At work, I wear 5.11 Taclite Pros, duty gear and all, same knives in the same pocket locations.

Thanks for all your input fellas. I was curious and it seems most people are of similar mindset. I've been experimenting with inside the waist, around 2 o'clock position canted just in front of hip and certain knives really sit well there. Pocket clip tensionneeds to be just rite though, but it is really not noticeable behind my belt.

FR - knife and wallet/card holder.
FL - phone w/ out a case.
RR - Keys. Never had a car with a fob 'till 2011 (because older ones are better. ), so I carried a single key in my rr pocket until then. They remain there out of habit.
RL - In the winter I keep a folded up paper towel, to blow my damn nose.

I only wear slacks when I absolutely have to, otherwise I'm in blue jeans year around. 3-4" folder in front right (and nothing else), and in my back right pocket I always have a small fixed blade and an alox Vic of some sort in a KSF pocket sheath.

Always right front pocket. And about 99% of the time I wear Wrangler jeans. MOst of the time my edc pocketknife is a stockman pattern, so I have three different blades in one package. If there's a second knife, it's sully a small SAK or multi-tool in the left front pocket.

Clip style on the left front pocket, traditional in the watch pocket of my jeans.

Mostly Duluth or Chaps jeans. Knife always right front. Wallet always right rear. Mcgizmo light also in right front when a jacket is not possible.

Oh we talkin jeans brands now. I generally wear lucky's.

Cargo pocket on my right thigh, as I always want to have a knife in a separate pocket, and my front pockets are loaded with the usual edc (keys, phone, ID, etc).
