So I bought a zt 0801 about six months ago and after getting some custom work done to it, I got it back and absolutely loved it. Them the CF version came out and I love that one too. I'm wicked excited for the black model to come out as I will definitely get that one too. So as of now I can officially declare the 0801 as my favorite production folder. It's just so smooth and it fits my hand like a dream.

What are your favorite production folders?

Spyderco Southard for starts. But I just got a ZT 0770CF and I'm having trouble getting it to leave my pocket. It's a whole lot of knife in a very lightweight package. :)

For me the Benchmade Rift is the best. The 710 is a close second and gets the call as often as the Rift but if only one, well now I don't know.

My favorite folder (currently) is my Manix 2 LW S110V. IMHO, it is almost the perfect EDC knife for me. Followed closely behind is my 0770CF & 940-1.

Spyderco Southard. I'm also really liking my 0770CF and 940-1, but they're new to the rotation, so they get a little extra love now.

BG-42 Large Regular Sebenza.
Then the small BG-42 Regular, and Large and Small s30V Micarta Classic Sebenza's.
Followed by a Spyderco BG-42 Carbon Fiber Military.

Many other production folders I love but I could get by with one of the large and small Sebenza's mentioned above, and my CF Military.

Mini Grip 555 or My fav Mini Bone Collector in D2 steel

Paramilitary2.
550 Griptilian.
740 Dejavoo

Dang forgot about the AFCK, best Benchmade ever. Gave mine away about 10 years ago. Always missed it, but my buddy still has it and its running strong. My fav though is the Bradley alias 1. Had one for years and sold it to a bro. Thought I had plenty knives... striders, crk's, a hinderer and I just always missed that knife. Found a user on here on BF and scooped it up a bit ago and it hasn't left my pocket (sorry other knives). I actually just blasted, tumbled and anodized it this afternoon and its all fresh. I have been enjoying the 801, and just got the BWCF one in the mail today. It actually flips with even more authority than the standard, which i didn't expect. The Bradley is somehow as smooth and fast as anything on bearings I've owned with just the use of phosphor bronze washers.

My two favorite productions that I own are the pm2 and 551 griptilian. Both are solid, comfortable knives that can handle a lot of punishment. And are not expensive to boot.

Sebenza small 21

BM 730 Ares

BM/Carraci AFCK

William Henry T10P Lancet

Case/Bose Swayback Jack

Small sebenza is my favorite that I use regularly. Special mention to the Ares as mentioned by T. Erdelyi, that and a Spyderco dragonfly started all this knife addiction for me!

Well, I can't honestly say I've owned many knives (Probably less than 30 different models, and all under ~$70), but out of the current 6 folders I own I honestly think I prefer my Cold Steel Mini AK-47 to my new Delica 4 FFG.

Now days almost all the big companies are making great production knives....I think it comes down to which knife fits the individual's taste and ergos.

I carry Benchmade, Spyderco, Strider, Chris Reeve, ZT/Kershaw........

You don't need a high dollar flavor of the week knife to carry a great knife these days.

Seriously I think some of the collaboration knives are better than the originals of course thats (JMO).

All this said ZT 560 series and Spyderco Military are high in my daily pocket stuff.

ZT0777M390 .....LE yes, but it is a production knife

If you are talking something you can buy in bulk ZT0770CF
