Favorite rough rider?

Can't take a pic as it's nighttime in Europe, but a REMARKABLE RR arrived today. Small Cotton Sampler with really nice thick jigged bone handles. I think it's more useful than he 'real' Cotton Sampler - big knife with its distinctive blade, this small one promises versatility. It is also astonishingly well finished.

I'll do a review in the other RR thread but I reckon this is the favourite, just check it out for yourselves.

That was one complaint I had about Rough Rider Knives... The etches, stamps, shields, nicks/pulls, and other embellishments always looked over-the-top and cheap. Now that they've cleaned up their design, I put my money where my mouth is and ordered one. I hope they can come out with some other nice patterns and handle materials done in this same simple way. :cool::thumbsup:
 
I'mma love me some Rough Riders. But a fave? That's a tough one. If going by the model I have most of, that would be the RR Barlow. Got a few of those. When they're cheap, and keep coming out with a steady flow of cover options.....I'm gonna bite. Hook, line, and sinker. .

But also love the occasional Canoe ride. And a lean & mean Sunfish, or Toenail. Or sitting on the porch whittlin' with a Sowbelly....or Congress....or stockman.

Hello guys ,
Im from the UK and collect various types and styles of knives . Recently Ive started a small collection of Rough Ryders pocket / folders which I hope to add to soon . For all the UK has a fair selection of these make of knives there are certain models on sale in the US which are not available here in UK . In particular I am searching for three models which are :
Vietnam Veterans Brotherhood Trapper / SKU 1226
Mother of pearl Trapper / SKU RR 1699
Exotic Abalone Trapper / SKU RR 1696

This is a long shot but does anyone know of any US company / supplier who could send these to me here in the UK ?

B bigeard09 I don't know if the brand owner ships across the pond.
you can email them and ask.
They are not a Blade Forums supporting dealer, so I cannot name them.

Besides Rough Ryder, they also own Queen/Queen City, Marbles, Novelty Knife Co. and a couple others.
They are the largest knfe store in Tennessee.
