Favorite S30v,titanium, frame lock Combo?

I'd also say the ZT. By all accounts, the Striders have bad QA. The ZT is basically like the Strider but with shaped handles instead of flat, and it has the Hinderer lock goodie which is supposed to be good, an improvement to the framelock.

RJ Martin and Rick Hinderer seem unavailable unless you're prepared to wait months.

My SnG, which has impeccable function, fit and finish - for a using tool, not pocket jewelry. The rumors of "QA" (?) do seem to circulate among non-owners a lot, or the few who thought they were getting $400 worth of "pretty." By all accounts from owners like me, if I can borrow such an overqualified phrase, the SnG is perfect. Just ask us, we're the ones who really know.

I bought mine for the features, including a flatground droppoint blade, and the excellent handling when wearing gloves - something lots of us do, and lots of us think twice about after fumbling with a slick handled, mini buttoned POS in cold weather or harsh work. Funny how so many nice knives we put money into are really bare hand users and next to worthless with gloves on when it has to be done that way.

I'd like to hear more on the Buck Mayo, I've been looking for a dress knife for weekends or the office - and it meets the minimums for me - S30V titianium framelock. It's not badly priced, either!

Old thread, but still worth replying to.

Camillus Cuda Dominator - Great blade shape, fun Robo mechanism, and high quality

Kershaw Ti Bump - Beautiful knife, all around, quick SpeedSafe

Sebenza - The top one, period

Instead of taking all accounts, I went with the accounts of exisiting Strider folder users (not collectors).
Excellent fit & finish, and more so when one considers they back it up with an outstanding no questions asked warranty.
Consequently, the first folder I don't hesitate to use hard, despite the $400 tag.
The current generations have had the Hinderer lock stabilizer since it's conception.

any ti framelock i like-

im having a custom damascus blade ti framelock made as i type(well he's starting it this week-lol)

rosconey2 - that sounds fantastic! I have a Damascus bladed, titanium locked, paper micarta handled folder made about 12 years back by Chaffee...real simple, real elegant & feels great in one's hand!

The Spyderco Millie that Steve made into a framelock is as smooth as it gets!!!!!! Factory wise it would be the Sebenza and Combat Elite RRF! Kevin Also Steve makes a great little custom from scratch that is AWESOME but he uses 440C on it!:thumbup:
