Photos Favorite Schatt & Morgan Knives

These 2 are not officially a Schatt & Morgan but they were made by Queen for the NKCA in 1981 when Queen offered to make an Old Schatt & Morgan pattern with the Old Schatt & Morgan tooling . Schatt & Morgan called it a " Bullhead " . We would now call them an Equal End Cigar . Part of the deal between Queen and NKCA was that Queen was to donate all of the Tooling to NKCA . There are currently a fair number of them available out there now . They are about 4 & 1/4 inch long closed .

That one really fills out your hand doesn't it . Very nice Stag on yours .
The Winchester , also made by Queen , for the NKCA in 1996 also does . There was another one in 1996 made by German Eye , but it is smaller .

The GEC forum knife had a similar handle shape in 2023!! I'm surprised Bill didn't turn it upside down and make a Remington clone!!!
He loves Remington patterns!!

Great stuff, Charlie -- I especially like that S&M Surveyor! According to Levine, the Surveyor is also known as a "Swell-Center Canoe." 😎 👍

This can only be described as bittersweet.
After sitting idle for eight months this post suddenly got four likes yesterday. Much appreciated, but a painful reminder that earlier this week I opened my knife case to pick out one to carry and noticed something odd about this S&M Muskrat -- on closer inspection I saw a broken backspring! Just sitting in the case, idle and unopened. Darn. 😭
