Favorite single spring, two blade knife

I've been admiring photos of the GEC Houndtooth, and went to pull the trigger on one, but the coffee house acrylic half whitt caught my eye. Two blades, single spring. Looks thin enough to disappear but robust enough to do whatever I need it to. So while I wait for it to arrive to see if I made the right decision, I was wondering what everyone else's favorite two blade, single spring knife might be? I'm avoiding the term "pen knife" because even though it may technically be one, I do not consider my 68 white owl to be a pen knife...

Queen Winterbottom Bone Half Congress. Bottom right.

This Tomato is very ripe and delicious!
And often accompanies Old Boiley on my daily rounds. With its sunk joints, and slim rounded profile it is a most unobtrusive, yet handy workhorse!
It is great as summer/hot weather eases its way in, because it suits lighter clothing.

Well, I like canoe pattern knives and have several. I have 2 or 3 muskrats. But my favorite 2 blade single spring knife by far is (are) Case's mini copperhead. Like these:

You mean this??? :D

I miss this knife but have my reasons for letting it go. Now that I have the 55 I prefer its longer thinner blade shape and the halfwhitt felt weird holding it in my hand when I wanted to use the pen. Plus try as I might I just really dont like pen blades. Look forward to your impressions

Single-spring knives are ALL good in my book, some gooder than others of course :D

The White Owl is high on the list but so is the Conductor, Half-Whitt, Norfolk, (will GEC do one??) and the CASE Pen and Böker version are also much liked. Just wish CASE would stop resting on its laurels with the Pen, high time for some more handle options! yellow delrin is good of course, but...

Muskrats when single spring offer a knife with exceptionally thin blades, just prefer to have a Clip/Wharncliffe variant. Half Whittlers come in all manner of styles, the CASE Crandall one I have is pretty but has its 'issues'. Canoes are not something I've managed to warm to really. However, the single spring knife always offers sleek lines, pocket friendly and is a great test of cutler's skill whatever the pattern.

Thanks, Will

These get lots of carry, small German Eye half Congress:

I do like Canoe patterns, and my latest interest is muskrats. Thanks to Pete's pics, I also picked up a blue bone Eisenhower, it's been getting lots of carry lately.

My favorite production models are the Case/Bose Norflok (as Will mentioned).

And this Schrade/Kious.

That BSA olive bone is very nice, zippofan.
Thank you! I have the olive Canoe from the series too, but no decent pic. Same with my chestnut bone Norfolk.
I really need to just take an afternoon and shoot pics.

I do like the White Owl pattern, and the Halfwhit also...

Mine is a Norfolk pattern like Gary's though Winchester calls it a congress pen.

Within my limited experience, the one I tend to carry and use most of the time is the Case Mini Copperhead. I've got the slightly larger Case Pen knife in both yellow Delrin and bone, but so far when I'm selecting something in that size it's always the Mini Copperhead that goes into the pocket.

The slimness of two blades on one spring very much appeals to me on a carry knife.

I like the Case/Bose Norfolk so much that I picked up three when they came out. One went to my dad, one I carry and the other was put up.

All beautiful examples in this thread to chose from. The GEC conductor, the Winchester, the Cases with the swedged wharncliff and the Schrade/Kious appeal to me, but I would also look at a honest too goodness muskrat too. Especially one with a Turkish type clip.

This one is over 100 years old. Electric Knife Company and I still carry it on occasions.

Not to derail too much, but I am not sure if I have posted pics of it in the past. Ken Erickson made it and really got two decent sized blades in a very slim package and not dainty at all. Very cool knife that shows some extraordinary work in getting those blades in a thin package.

Not to derail this thread, but slim version

I don't feel derailed! I love that pattern, Gus!
Fits the thread, I'd say.
I like every knife in this thread so far!!!!!

A #68 for me so far, but I've a two blade #61 in the post that might rival it.
