Favorite steel?

For the last few years I have only owned a few Spydercos, their blades were in LC200N, M390, S110V, Maxamet, ZDP189 and S30V. I now longer own any with S30V or ZDP-189, nothing to do with the steel more to do with I no longer wanted those knives. Well I am not really sure why I decided to I wanted to try a bunch of different steels and ones that would becoming from the same company. What better place could there be for that Spyderco, so I have now in the last month or so bought quite a few. I added one more Maxamet, and a K390, Rex 45, Rex 121, 15V, Cruwear, two S90V, VG-10, CTS_204P and Magnacut to the collection. The M390, S90V, VG-10 and Magnacut I have with other knives so I am familiar with them but not with how Spyderco treats them. Hopefully a few months from know I will have a few favorites from the bunch, although it is hard to imagine any will be that bad.

I have a lot of different choices thanks to Sal.
So far my favorite has been hap 40.
Seems to sharpen really easily and holds that keen edge.
I would like to have another hap 40.

Sometimes I really enjoy salt knives others I’m keen on a tool steel and anywhere in between.

I never much cared for the type of steel before discovering knife youtube and bladeforums ... Especially this place, now that I think of it ^^

Right now my most high-end knives are in S30V and I like it very much, but I don't look down on my 420HC, 14c28n, 154cm, D2 or BD1N knives. As has been said in this thread, they're all different and I still enjoy them all. Thankfully, the one's I use the most are my Spydies in S30V *lol*

I would very much like to try some Magnacut or Rex121 sometime, but right now I'm equipped very well.
