favorite tactical folders

I second the Benchmade 810 Contego. Its tactical without being "Tacticool". It's my EDC blade. It's large but slim enough to carry without being noticed. I did have to radius the scales on mine since they are as sharp as the blade from the factory.

Why is that exactly? Most "overbuilt" knives aren't necessarily stronger or better suited to cutting. As long as you're using the basic pattern of titanium frame/liner lock, blade, scales and stop pin, the only thing that thicker & heavier parts guarantee is an increase in weight and size.

my favourite is the zt0200 or my cold steel xl voyager clip point whats yours

Didn't you post the zt0200 in the tacticlol knives thread also? You may have missed the point of that thread. ;)

The only tactical folder I own is the Hi Jinx which was classified as "urban tactical" according to Ken. I laugh whenever I hear it because it seems like the perfect alias for mall ninja.

The first survival knives were pieces of chipped stone, maybe the size of a small knife blade. They allowed our early ancestors to slice through the skin, remove chunks of meat, and run to safety before the larger predators / scavengers took the kill from them.

If you need more than that, you're not doing it right! :D
