Favorite Thanksgiving Becker

Nice job with the bk4 and that bird. Thanks for sharing.

I messed up and didn't get photos. The 5 did its traditional great job. (Although the 20 almost got used)

Thanks Yetidayhiker, it's easy not to get photos I'am good at not getting them. It's always fun to use a Becker on the Thanksgiving turkey .

I use my 15 to carve the turkey at home. I pack it with use when we go to the in-laws houses. their knives are terrible. and the ones that aren't, they're in terrible shape. I usually get drafted to help with the turnip or chop some other vegetable. the 15 does well, but some times the turnips are a bit too big. I might have to snag a 5 before they're gone.

...and xr6x, my mom had those plates growing up.

I forgot to mention that last photo was delicious, what doesn't taste better with gravy. (Or bacon)

Love them Beckers. This forum is so cool....

Jober,

I agree with you, my 15 is my fav for all around use, I find the 5 is a bit big for smaller jobs but it's such a wonderful knife and you can still get it for a steal. I would recommend getting one. You won't find a knife like it anywhere, especially with E's excellent handle, it punches way above its weight class. You should see it with a convex edge, it snap cuts light brush with ease.

I used my Becker kitchen knife to carve the turkey this year.
The whole set also go plenty of use when I butchered this year's deer a few weeks ago.

Definitely my most used Beckers, and also my wife's favorite knives.
