I agree with Planterz. The MT LCC D/A is the best sound. A sort of compound thwack, as the leaf spring is released and engages, and the lock smacks into place. Very cool! :thumbup:

But, to me, there's more satisfaction with a manual or assisted Thwack. It's a little more work, but it's like it's more deserved.

Benchmade spike has a unique sound. I think the handle somehow amplifies it.

But come on guys, I hope your not flipping while your thwacking, cause the "experts" say that'll damage your knife You also may fall and hurt yourself.

MT Amphibian. That microbar makes the best thwack I've ever heard.

I have the MT Auto and it's got a pretty good thwack as well. I also enjoy my Protech tr-3.
