3-3.5" blade
All Ti
$400 range
Does not have to be strictly thumb deployment
Use would be EDC but I'm on construction sites with fair regularity so it could see some reasonably hard use.

Slysz Bowie and Sebenza are already on the radar although I've handled CRK's before and they don't seem to be my cup of tea.

Curious to hear some suggestions that I may not have heard yet. Trying to weigh all my options.

Thanks guys

Native 5 in Fluted Ti

If you can budge and go with a longer blade, I'd go with a Ti military.

Try a grayman dua ti/ti, it has a sebenza style pivot bushing. Also chaves 228, three sisters forge beast or gorgon, or protech integrity

CRK Inkosi and Sebenza 21 are some of my favourite. The Spyderco Techno is a gorgeous knife if you are looking for something smaller.

The Lionsteel SR-1, Tispine and some of their newer knives like the TRE are quite nice.

For a cheaper knife that is actually quite good look at the Maxpedition Excelsa. It comes in both large and small size.

There are so many Ti-slab scaled knives these days that the market is flooded.

I'm defying your parameters , OP.

I like the Ti Military. Both fluted and non-Fluted. 4" blade , 5.5 inch handle. Steel insert. It's an elegant beast. Much like myself.

Another vote for the Grayman Dua. It is a superb and robust knife that is big enough for anything but not a brick in the pocket. It is in stock (in all Ti) on Grayman's website. You'll also save over $100!

Sebenza for me. Have no issues with the Spydie TI either just prefer the sebbie so I have not bought the Spydie

Slysz Bowie!!! :D

Actually now that I see you're on a construction site, maybe that Grayman Dua. Not to say the Bowie couldn't handle it but it is thinner than the Grayman.

I love my Slysz Bowie. Love my CRKs as well, but if you've handled them and they're not for you, don't force the issue. The Slysz should save you a few $ over a CRK. Have a Grayman Dua and Three Sisters Forge Beast and those are great as well, with thicker blades than the Slysz, but shorter. If you want a bit bigger of a blade the Slysz is nice. I got mine used locally, took it home, then apart to clean/lube. Super smooth, love the Spydie hole for opening, and best of all it doesn't have the Spydie hump where the hole is. If I remember I'll post a pic with all of them....

Small Inkosi, Small 21 Insingo Micarta, Grayman Dua, TSF Beast, Slysz Bowie

Late reply. Very nice comparison between these. I like them all, but the Beast in particular. A little heavier than I want to EDC. Hoping to get my hands on the thin model this week.

Oops - overlooked the 3-3.5" part. Spyderco Military is close to 4" so it is out of the window.

How about:
- ZT0801Ti ($200)
- Reate Wave ($300, on sale)
if you don't mind flippers?
