Favorite Traditional Knife Handle Material?

I prefer in order : Sambar Stag first because of the texture and each slab of it is unique in that there is not another one exactly like it .
Then in order after that : Wart Hog Ivory , Desert Ironwood , Amboyna Wood , Mesquite , Exterior Rams Horn , Randomly Jigged Bone , Sawcut Bone, Smooth Bone

Wow a dug up 10 year old thread!!
I like Ebony, Ivory, and figured wood like ironwood best for my traditional knife covers. I can’t order them- it depends on the knife!
