Off Topic Favorite Traditional knife

Case Mini Copperlock, Tribal Lock and Buck 501's are really easy to pinch-grip open. No need to use the nail nick. The Mini Copperlock is a great pocket knife.

Just a thought.
Thanks.

I have heard of the Tribal lock and Copperlock before. Not sure what the Buck 501 is.

I am a sucker for Barlow knives. Simple design with a great history and I love an interesting bolster stamp. I’ve collected several, although the humble camillus #50 is perhaps my favorite for actually working with. The others I tend to baby.

Barlow have been my favourite since my Dad gave me my first one in the 1950s. I got my first stockman in 1970 & that joined the Barlows. I'll occasionally carry something like a Churchill or jack for a while, but I eventually come back to the Barlow & medium stockman.

Yeah, I haven't tried it, but thought I'd pass it along.
It sure is different.
It seems like the most logical place to carry something like that is on my keys.

I am not crazy about having my keys out every time I want to use my knife though.

Maybe someone that has used one can give a little feedback .

For me it is a small lockback. Something with a blade length between 2.5" to 3". That is large enough to be useful but small enough to pocket carry easily.
