Favorite traditional pattern

Swell End
I like 'em too. :)

see this was the discussion in one of the facebook groups. There were opinions that swell end referred to more 85 looking pattern. I always thought these were boys knives or just jacks. Either way, the 15s and its derivatives as Randy calls them, dominate my collection.

My favorite varies form time to time. Right now it's the canoe...

My uncle carried and used one of these whenever skinning rabbits, and everything else ~ he was a true hunter and trapper, he raced pigeons too, he had a champion racing pigeon that he bred many other champions from named G.I. Joe ~ he could call predator birds right out of the sky doing wounded rabbit squeals and drop a coyote running at over a hundred to two hundred yards, I've seen it ~ we, i.e. 'family' lost my uncle to throat cancer a few years back at a young age he was just turning sixty years old ~ he chewed a lot of Red Man ~ anyways whenever seeing a 54 Pattern ~ I think about him ~

Lambsfoot and pretty much anything bare end in the 3 1/2 to 3 7/8 territory. Also really enjoy the single blade Sowbelly.
