The last time Mr. Skunk told me he had a limited amount, it was extremely limited.

I wonder what ###'s will be running. They're in the 1000's now I would imagine. Has anyone tried removing a number from a Satin?

Dhamn! :D Sometimes I really envy you Americans. :p Here's something to make you guys feel happy about where you live. ;) Take a random knife, let's say the FMBLE. Now add about 40 $ to the price. Then multiply the total by 130 %. That's how much people over here in Finland get to pay for them. :mad:

They may be only made once, but I would call that a "special edition".
When I think of "limited addition" (like with other knives and products) it would mean Limited in the amount made. Anything over 500 doesn't seem to limited to me.(But, I don't know crap)

I wonder if the ASH1 will still be available this time next year. The FBMLE was put up a year (or more) ago.

But I guess thats good since all the people that missed it still has a chance to get one at cost:thumbup:

I figure it's relative. It's difficult to say without knowing how many FBMs have been made, but a limited edition of, say, 1000 pieces would still be limited if there were ten thousand or more of the standard pieces made. It all depends. And besides, Busse has their own definition of limited edition - an edition that is only made once, and that's it, never again, ever. It's the terminology, just like "two weeks." :D

But I'm telling you guys, if those LEs don't disappear quickly, I might be unable to stop myself from getting one of those, even though I really wanted an FFBM. Satin finishes on big, mean knives like Busses just don't appeal to me at all. I'm strange like that. The other thing stopping me so far isn't Busse's fault either. I would in fact pay 700 $ for an FBMLE. But I'm not going to pay $ 950+, which is what I would have to pay much thanks to our bloody accursed half-communist government that taxes everything except the air you breathe like tomorrow's payday. It just isn't worth that to me. Well, okay, I might pay that much if the money was all going to Skunk or Jerry, but it wouldn't - instead, I'd be donating a couple of hundred dollars to support our nannystate Europe. Solution? I should move to the States for a year or two and then do a covert black ops INFI haul to Europe. :p

Dang Grimspoon! I was hoping to score that SOW , but I told hm I wasn't in the market until middle of January. Now I guess I can kiss it goodbye. I am half tempted to quit coming to this forum until I gots the deep pockets to score. I am really feeling that old saying about how money talks and the rest walks. :(
I would say after reading this thread that I really like knives like this, and made of INFI and satin finished with Micarta? Manoman I would if I could ..Lat me say that twice for emphasis. What a deal..if only I had been able to get the BA a while back and this one i would have a start on collecting Busse's knives then. I am gettting more and more interested in Busses then I had been up to now. The complete randomness of opportunities is tantylyzing(sic).

limited edition means they are limited, you can not order one now, once they were removed from busse's site they are not made again.

but... i ordered some for the busse company store when you ordered for yourself. it is my job to make sure some of the new piggies get a couple.

and, i just got mine yesterday while you fricking porkchops have been playing with yours for months.

just like a car, they call a special car a limited edition because it has special options and paint and such, but when the run is done it is done forever.

thats my story and i'm sticking to it!

I get 10 to 15 calls a day from people asking the same questions....IF YOU DO NOT ORDER FROM THE BUSSE COMBAT SITE......and they are gone.

SKUNK ORDERS THEM AHEAD OF TIME (Like You all do ) so he can spread the INFI love.......

WE ONLY MAKE BLADES PER EACH ORDER....so when you think about it...each blade is made to your specs.....

and SKUNK.......will always have your back
