Customized Competition Style Busse FBM User - Magnum Green Linen: $395 SOLD
Blade thickness: .25", Blade length: 10.0", OAL: 15.625". Used.
This FBM started out life with a standard Black CBT Blade. The coating was removed, the edge re-profiled slightly for better bite and the handle was made less aggressive with the edges rounded and the high spots knocked down. The blade was then taken to a machine shop where the spine was milled flat (SHBM style), the hump in the top of the handle was reduced and the butt was put on a serious diet. The end result is awesome. The knife balances much better and the handles are more comfortable for heavy chopping goodness. Obviously this is no safe queen, but the edge is in great shape with no dents, dings or chips and the mill work was done properly. If you're looking for a rough and ready bush pal, this is it. The most fun you can have for under $400!
