FBM Proto Set Value?

Ok, lets make this even more interesting.

What do you guys think an original SH-1 is worth???

piglet

My first one cost me $850, and my second one $600, but the second one was an unusual prototype and neither the seller nor I knew what he really had. These both were bought several years ago, though.

Their value now is strictly as a collector's item. If one wanted a user they would get the INFI instead. However. collectors can be downright irrational when they really want something, and no top rate Busse collection is complete without an original SH-1. The only way to truly find out is when someone puts one up for sale and someone buys it.

I don't know, but it's worth a lot more to Mulder and Ducci than it is to me. However, if you ever find an SHBM made of ATS34 or A2 let me know. :D

I so hate you right now John. :D I wish I had the sense to buy a ton of these back in 92.

You need one of those 10 1/2" BBSH models some of us have scrounged up. They were A2 and about as close as you are going to get to what you are talking about. I think there something like 6 total.

Yup, I would love to find one at a gun show for $65.00, but I just don't have a horse shoe up my azz. You're right though I would love to find one.

Cobalt, should you ever decide to attempt this, I'm told that the horseshoe has to point up so all the luck doesn't spill out. :p

I think there were places in EAST St Louis where you could get that done... For the right price. :p (Man, helping to set up productions over there were SCARY!:foot:)

"I" Is for Infi...I love my set deeply....couldn't....wouldn't set a price on it.
