Which one would you want, if you could only have one?

I may need to make this choice.

Ok, my personalized FBM isn't going anywhere, but if the choice were between the FBM-LE and the NMFBM CG, which one would you pick and why?

Thanks for the insight.

Keep the FFBM LE! I could never part with mine... this thread needs pics.

I like my FFBM over my FBMLE. It's blade heavy and splits wood easier.
Of course, the NMFBM is the best chopper but if size is a factor, the FFBM is a happy medium for packing or hiking trips.

soon I will have both- FBMLE and NMFBMLE. Then I will clang them together until one breaks to decide the victor. . . or not

I have a customized LE, but I think I would rather have a NMFBMLE with the convex edge.

Those Snakesin run of 13 NMFBM LE's handled well which were at Knob Creek....but not as good as the FBM LE.....and definately not as good as the SHBM. There is only so much weight you need and the SHBM at KC was "ideal" for me....no wonder they cost so much on the secondary market.

i only got one NM FBM, but if you guys send me on each of the other BMs i can tell you which one that is the best!

What is the difference between the FBMLE and a FFFBM? Is it the satin finish and a # on the LE?

The LE is a full flat grind, the FFBM a high saber grind. Otherwise, the differences are satin finish, tigerhide scales and numbers on the blade.

I appreciate the replies, guys.

I had an FFBM (twice) and sold it both times. Just didn't do it for me. It must've been the saber vs. full flat grind that made the difference in feel.

I've not yet put hands on the NMFBM-CG, hence my question.
