Up for sale is a customized FBMLE. # 74
It has hand shaped mags, and a top clip (un sharpened, so still great for batoning) (These mods were done by professional knife maker Bill Siegle who is a regular here). No hot spots on the handle, and there is a reason they offer this as an upgrade on knives. Worth it for users.
The edge is convex, and was done by hand with no power tools (by me).
This is a user, with user scratches, but a life time of hard use left in her. No edge damage, nicks or dings. Get her if you want one to beat on, and still look nice!
Asking $725 $700, Price drop $690, $675, $660, $640, $640, $625 NOW $600for the knife and Mashed Cat kydex sheath with tech lock. Shipping is included, as is insurance. Con US only at this time, unless you are a known international HOG with good feedback, I might be willing. Any and all risk is yours after it leaves my hands. Won't misstate value on customs forms. Open to Trades now. .
Pay pal, or USPS money order OK.
The sheath is a Mashed Cat kydex. Also will include the leather knuckle guard if you want it.
Here are some pics from 7-18. I took it outside in the sun and try to snap a few shots.
As you can see, not going to win any safe queen beauty contest! Down and Dirty Babe she is!
Also, on a side note, the mashed cat sheath is specifically for the FBMLE, but this knife has hand shaped handle scales (which I put in the listing), so they are not as thick as original. The knife snaps into the sheath, and you can hold it upside down and give it firm shakes without it falling out. but with a pretty hard downward shake, you can get the knife to fall out. If you did a summersault, it would not fall out, but if you fell of a log and and landed on your head hard, it might. Just an FYI. Mashed Cat sheaths has told me if I wanted to send it in, they would mold it tighter if I wanted, but I have never felt the need. If you use one of the leather Dguards, or a paracord Dguard (which I used to have on there), it is much tighter, and you can shake it much harder (could fall off high log on your head without any worries).
