Ok which one of these is your favorite. I used Lunds pics because no one takes better pics and I think he indicated we could use them a while back, so I hope he's ok with it:D

I did not include the FBM protos or the FBM SE because they are low production knives and not easily obtainable.

ive only owned a cg, and wasnt thrilled with it.

so i shot it. :)

were i to acquire another, it would only be an le.

I like the FFBM best...always have been partial to a sage blade.

Of the the three I like the FBM LE the best it has the thickest blade and it seems to feel better in my hand but I have all three and my user is a FFBM and it works great also it is just hard to for me so I just try to get more.

Yup, even though I prefer the CG, the Sage handles of the FFBM are the most beautifull handles I have ever seen. They make the knife look like it belongs in a museum of Roman art.

I have all three types and I prefer the LE over the others. The FFbm is a heavier blade that is balanced more towards the cutting edge than the handles. I like the feel of the CG with mags in my hand and it is a good bit lighter (the better to carry).

Even is costs were all the same and I could only have one it would be the LE!

I chose the CGFBM. It just feels better in my hand than a FFBM. I dont have a LE yet but some day I hope to.

I refuse to vote or answer on the grounds that my response may may incriminate me...

...Nope, not gonna answer or vote!! That's my STORY... And I'm STICKIN' TO IT. :foot: :D:D ;)

i havent owned a cg, but I'm sure it's wonderful. I have owned an le and a ffbm though, and the ffbm blew the le out of the water in every regard for me.

But I want pure weight in this size of knife, unless it's for light brush work on weeds and such. The le's weight was distributed to neutrally, with the balance point being noticably closer to the handle. it just didn't feel like a chopper.

where as the ffbm feels like a dead blow hammer in the hand, heavy and solid. I wish I hadn't had to sell mine :(

I use an FFBM most, for splitting wood. I actually still haven't used one of my LEs yet! I have used a CG when out camping, but in the future I'll probably be taking an ASH1 instead.

I just have the FFBM but it has moved towards being an LE, just a little, after I hand sanded the INFI dimples out of it.

:D

I think that the FBM LE would out perform the other two but If I have to carry it I'm going to 'make do' with the CG. The balance between performance and weight I don't think that you are losing anything by hauling the CG around all day.

I love the LE its a great user. I haven't used the FFBM yet but it is considerably heavier and should be a better chopper---but we will have to see.

Yeah still wating on a sheath, but its a good un so I am happy to wait.
