FBMLE vs CGFBM vs FFBM Poll

I have all 3, and I voted for the LE. Though that may be because I got the LE most recently, and the "new" hasn't worn off of it yet. But I'm a big fan of satin, and tigerhide as well. It's definitely the classiest, and also the beefiest version. The spine of my LE is even thicker than my FFBM, something I wouldn't have though possible.

The LE is like a female Terminator- beautiful, but capable of ridiculous levels of destruction. That said, all of the FBMs are amazing knives. There's no going wrong with any of them.

The FBMLE is still available so that would make my decision if I were shopping today.

I do like my CGFBM.

Just got this a week ago second-hand new (from the for sale forum) as a user/camp tool and I'm lovin' it so far. Feels fast in the hand for such a big knife and for my size (5'8" 145lbs) I think the thicker ones would be overkill. I've already done some chopping and thought it rocked at it. Stripped the muddy coating and was pleased to find a nice, uniform and dimple-less surface and like the looks of the raw grey, unpolished blade. Couple minor machine marks on the spine and inside the bevels that don't bother me at all.

Gonna make my own kydex sheath too, just waiting for the order to arrive.

And I'm probably going to be working 4 days on, 3 off which makes it super easy to road trip and camp.

Personally, I'll take the WFBM, but since I think there are only one of them, and it wasn't an option, I'll go with the LE!

yah but anyone can make one since it is a modified fbm. Also it is modded FBM, so the terminology WFBM would kinda confuse nubees into thinking it was done at the factory and it was not.

Don't hate me over next comments but,

My first Busse was a FBM grey/snake. I got 2nd hand almost two years ago.

Being snakeskin it was standard sized and honestly, I didn't buy another Busse for over a year.

Yeah, too each their own, but long of short I didn't like my first and look at me now

I am almost 6 ft and little over 250 so the mags fit me like a custom glove.

A world of difference to me. Just as the standards do the same for others

I like the CGFBM above all the others.

The FFBM is way too heavy and the Mags on the LE bug me.

But the CGFBM would be better if you could move the balance back a little. I had been thinking about having the spine flattened out so it doesn't eat batons and maybe that metal removal would move the balance back a bit too.
