As a lawyer, I like the fact that they show lawyers reading depositions and such into the wee hours. That part is real. All too real.
I had a harder time believing that even biggest and best firms in New Mexico would be offering the kind of perks they wrere giving Jimmy.
But still, I too think it's currently the best show on TV right now. (Just don't judge it by the first episode, which was not be best thing on TV.)
I think all the perks were to show what Jimmy aka Saul aka "Charlie Hustle" is willing to throw away all the great stuff just to be himself. He can't lead the good life, he wasn't made to do so. Kim Wexler is also a screw up...she followed him
I can't wait until Jimmy finally meets Gus.
