Well, it has been awhile since the ABS hammer-in in MT. I have just now tried all the things we saw. I made a D guard, on an earlier knife, and I played with the feather pattern and tried my hand at carving on this one. I think that the hammer is a good way to learn and build on skills. It took two or three try's to get the feather right. I have some good ones on the bench. But I thought this one would be good for a laugh. Thanks Josh, Tim, and Harvey.

This does make me smile big Dave. Very cool. Now you should combine all the skills into one knife. A "D" guard feather pattern bowie with carved blade and fittings in a metal sheath. :)

As an objet d'art, I'd have to say it is way cool and absolutely gorgeous. It would look great sitting on my office bookshelf. Consider my fancy tickled. :)
