I had this piece in San Antonio. Elephant ivory handle, take down construction, and feels great in the hand. The blade is 1075/L-6 feather damascus heat treated to 58rc. The guard is mild steel with a touch of engraving. It is heat colored and blued, which produces a mottled look almost like dark case coloring. Blade length is just over 4" with a 4.5" handle.

The handle has a very small crack at the top of the guard that will probably not grow. Ivory tends to get a couple of these and then stop as the stress in the ivory relaxes. I will guarantee that it won't cause a structural problem or open up much more at all. If it does I will replace it for $.50 :-) You can see it in this picture

In liue of the ivory, I am asking $575 shipped CONUS. Visa/MC, check , MO accepted.

Thanks!!
