Hi everyone! I'm excited, honored, and humbled about an opportunity to be a featured knife maker in the "5 From the Grinder" Series. It is basically a written interview- it talks a bit about what got me started and my journey in knife making!
I still have so so much to learn- and want to thank everyone on here who has helped me learn and grow as a maker and get me to where I'm at today! Really joining this forum is what got me going- am so grateful to the folks on here who have been willing to share their knowledge and experience!
I'd love you guys to read it and hear your feedback!

That's a nice write up Nic, and I'm glad you've found some inspiration in my knives.

I'm looking forward to what comes next for you.

Thank you very much Shane! Did you see the last pic with the knife with the integral lanyard loop? That was the 1st time I got to try it, I've been meaning to send you pictures of it! That steel is a bit thin to do that with, I'm looking forward to trying it with some thicker blades!

Very nice write up! Good job and well spoken on your part.

Thank you guys- I appreciate it. And thank you both very much for all of your help!

Ya don't have to go that far north to get to where Cali is spelled with a C not a K!
Two hours and 10 minutes north east of ya Ben when you're at home in LA.

Hi- to follow up on this- Clay Aalders (who is the editor for the Truth About Knives) saw that I shared the article on here and asked that I let you guys know that they are looking for makers to feature- Obviously there are a lot of very talented makers on here- and it's a neat opportunity!
If interested, the email address is thetruthaboutknives@gmail.com
