One the reasons for Kershaw to have this forum is to get feedback on their products, I think we have pretty much got that covered.

What are some features you'd like to see in future Kershaws, besides lefty versions (the best bet there will be a stud lock with lefty clip options)?

I'd like to see all Kershaw folders drilled & tapped for both tip-up/tip-down, as well as for right-hand/left-hand carry. I KNOW that this will never happen, but I can still dream, huh?

With the proliferation of Kershaw flippers with slab G10 scales I would love to be able to upgrade the scales. I currently have a Lahar that has scales that are too grippy for my taste. I would like to be able to get a nice set of polished G10 scales in blue or green. I also think that a set of polished OD scales for the Avalanche would be nice. I think for my money you cannot beat OD handles on a black blade.

A Bump style recurve blade and handle in a flipper model, or, just more Bumps in general. I only have 6 Bumps and would like to make it an even 10 or 20 or... well you get the picture.

I would love to see a blade exchange set for the Leek. The set would include all or selections of the different steels used in the Leek blades. It would also be great to be able to buy different blade steels currently offered for the other models as well.

First I agree with Glockman, It shouldn't take that much more production time or cost, once the computers are set for it, to tap all the handles for tip up carry (and in Glockman's case, left hand carry). This would be a major coup against the other manufacturers.

Secondly, another thing is to offer black pocket clips and screws. With an all black Cyclone, Blur or Boa, the silver clip stands out (yeah, I was called out by a Colonel recently for having that shiny clip on my Cyclone sticking out like a sore thumb on my BDU's.) With a black clip and screws, it would blend in with utilities and I could get away with carrying a Kershaw while on duty.

Third: an all black ZT 300 series, not made for a particular distributor or dealer. We the people would like to see it at our favorite dealers.

With the Tyrade now a reality, I can't wait to see Kershaw's offerings on other models...I know they'll be here soon! They are really on the cutting edge (pun intended) of innovations, materials, fit and finish.

some features i would like to see? ok lets start with more of the MIM style blades. next would be more composite blades. also would like to see the stud lock again.

I agree with you there spiral. interchangable scales like what BM has for the Rukus. that would be awsome. dif colors and textures. (i want blue and red and silver to be honest).

Less recurves & Less AO's.

Kersh you for saying that! yeah i know, baaad pun.

How about more AO's that can be turned on/off like the Cyclones?

good idea glockman. that would be cool to see on future Kershaws

All of Kershaw's AO knives can be disabled, just take the thing apart and the spring is no problem to remove.

For future models.
First. I think they should all be assisted opening, most with flippers.

Second. Phase out the liner lock, or more specifically use the Stud lock instead. It is very reliable, and keeps the thumb studs out of the way.
Frame locks are Ok.

I'd like to see more satin blades on the folders... The coatings are fine but I still admire blades like the Lahar, Ener-G and splinter. Also, I'd like to see deeper carry clips (that don't catch on the pocket, however) with lower profile appearance. I just don't like my clips flashy and noticeable

Flippers with NO thumb studs (like the Tyrade and JYDs).

More full G10 scales (plain scales--or at least the option of plain scales).

Not so crazy with the pocket clip designs.

(I guess what I'm asking for is a small JYD with plain G10 scales and a plain jane pocket clip!)

I like the idea of scale options like the ruckus. I would think they would be a high margin option of them to sell, and I would change them up just to be different with "my" knife. Kershaw makes more takes more of our money and we are all happy, how could they lose? :D It looks like the RAM and Groove would be easy to make scale options for, and I want both knives, so starting there would be perfect!

I would like black pocket clips (when matching the knife), I wear black slacks every day for work. I would also like smaller clip designs like the R.A.M. has (I think) also. My DOG has the smallest clip ever it seems, compared to the knife size, and it works great and does not scream "Hey I got a big knife here!" I have had no one ever care in my life that I have a knife, but I would still prefer the smaller and more blended clips.

I've picked up a couple of Kershaws for the wife but I won't buy any more till they're drilled for left hand carry and come with ambi thumb studs. All the new models are useless to me.

I also will put my wish in for an all black ZT 300. I keep checking TAD but they never have any in. Pretty much the only Kershaw knife that interests me is the ZT300 but I just can't do the stripes.

Kershaw is pretty much doing everything that I could ask for. I would like to be able to buy different blades/scales for the Leek.

Count my vote for deep pocket carry black clips, drilled for up or down carry.
and different scales for the most popular knife models. Where possible.

Some more versions of the Random Leek would be great (a run of my Random FrankeLeek would be great.)

I'd really like to see some more stud lock models.
A full size Mini Mojito with the same lock and safety as the current one, in particular.
