Sweet I got the TK with the artical you did that was pretty cool might have to check this one out too

I like spending money with honorable, hard working people. SWAT magazine is made up of just that. The staff are some of the best people you will ever meet and their customer service is the same as RAT Cutlery's ;) So, this is my plug, again, for the magazine. If you can only subscribe to one magazine and you love the outdoors, guns, knives, training, 2nd Amendment issues, etc. THEN SUBSCRIBE TO SWAT!

Hmmm, I'm not a major league door kicker, but I do enjoy all of the above. I'm going to have to peep this out.

ETA: I just watched the trailer for SWAT TV coming on the Outdoor Channel in January. Looking forward to that as well.

SWAT Magazine is NOT about door kickers.

Nope, not at all really. I was just reading through one of the free online editions they offered some back that I had saved.

The name SWAT always turned me off because I had always assumed it was police focused. Really, it's just got a lot of cool gear, articles, and information that applies not strictly to LE but personal and home defense, etc.

Beats the heck out of one of Craig Boddington's latest African safaris taking up 14 pages of my GUN related magazine.

Jeff, Is this the magazine issue that you wrote an article about the AR15 tool (Multitasker)? There was another article about your trip to Columbia, and I saw a picture of you (carrying 2 cameras and actually smiling) standing with a few suited up gents. (I sat in the Barnes & Noble w/ my coffee and read:D)

That was in Tactical Knives magazine. TK is so focused on knives that it would have been impossible to get a good overall article on the operation. You'll like the SWAT piece much better. Yep, I was the butt of a joke from the Jungla and the American agent standing beside me. ;)

Rich bought the magazine from Larry Flynt Publications (Hustler) and it would have been crazy to change the name before he ever got started with.

SWAT was always running articles on survival-related stuff. I was buying it back when I was a teenager in the early to mid 1980s. :)

very cool.. i'll have to check it out... i have been liking a lot of the articles in SWAT these days..:)

Thanks for the heads up, I'm on this a soon as it hits the stands:thumbup:
