I have bought a 8" wheel from usaknifemaker.com last month. I have been flat grinding from the start, but I have to admit hollow grinding is super fast and easy compared to flat...

The following knife is for mom, she wanted a good paring/fruit knife, this is made in 12 hours of work (incl. HT)...
Steel: AEBL
Micarta and SS pins and bolster. About 4" blade, 4" handle...

Nice work!!! I love your designs and material choices. The boxes really make it gift like and I am sure your customers love that!

Well done!!!

A sample of the presentation:
Boxes are made by my GF. She also prepared a froshiki like/inspired velvet wrap. The paper cover is from India, the inside lining is dyed natural wool.

Wow, very nice. The packaging looks Japanese. They are masters of presentation, and apparently so are you. :)

Thanks friends, I do owe her a big time for her boxes and such. Her work is custom designed for each knife, this adds a great value ...
